Here are some creative ways that parents and teachers can use these coloring pages:
Create Artistic Licence Coloring Pages
Print out the page, and cover half of the picture with a white sheet of paper. Photo copy a stack of coloring sheets like this so that half the page is blank, and then have kids use their artistic license to draw and color in the other half.
Color by Number
You can turn any of these coloring sheet into a color by number activity to work on direction following skills. Simply number each area of the picture with a number that corresponds to a color before you photo copy the page. (1 = yellow, 2 = blue, etc.) and then create a code to set out at the table that the kids can use to copy it.
Helpful Tip: When printing these coloring pages, set your printer settings on “borderless or minimize margins” to ensure the full picture is printed on the page.
