About this site
This site offers free curriculum and educational resources for early childhood, (ages 3-8). Many activities were made especially for teachers and early childhood educators, and are designed for classroom use. However, we have also built this site as a resource for parents, grandparents, and home-schoolers alike. You will find many fun and educational things to do with preschool and elementary school-age kids, no matter who you are. For everything in Early Childhood Education, remember ECEkids.com.

Parent Preferred Activities
Moms, Dads, or Grandparents, start out with our Parent Preferred activities. These are projects that have been hand picked by parents, and can easily be done from a home environment.

How to Find What You Need
Across the multi-colored strip on the top of our page we list the different areas of our site. Click on these and you will find a strip on the left listing the different topics or themes for that area. Select a topic, and browse through the activities listed! Or use our Google powered site search to look for a specific item.

Developmental Areas
Each activity lists the developmental category or categories it falls under. (Science, Language, Dramatic Play, etc.) This is listed above the name of the activity. To understand what these are, please refer to our article: Developmental Areas in Early Childhood Education.

Ages and Stages
Each activity lists an approximate age range. They are:

·	Preschool-Ages two and a half to five

·	Pre-K - The year or so before Kindergarten

·	Kindergarten - 5 and 6 year olds of the kindergarten age

·	Grade Schoolers - Elementary school kids are listed by appropriate grades

·	All Ages - Can be adapted to kids of any age

Copyright & Reprint Rules
All items on this site are offered at no charge, and intended for parents and teachers to use freely with their kids. However, we have a few basic rules we ask you to follow:

You are invited to...

1	Print out activities from this site to do with your child{ren}.

2	Use a Zerox or other photocopy machine to make copies of a printable or worksheet as needed for immediate use or classroom environments.

The following things violate our copyright and reprint rules:

3	Storing or maintaining our content in any form outside of our site. This includes downloading files to store on a computer, or keeping paper copies of content that isn't intended for immediate use.

4	Distributing our content in any form, other than implied classroom/ teacher uses.

Please respect these basic guidelines. Your adherence to these rules allows us to continue to offer these resources at no charge.

Opening the Worksheets & Printables
Posters, Flashcards and other printables are contained in an easy to print PDF format, and should open up in adobe acrobat reader through your web browser.

Printing the Worksheets
To print a worksheet, click on the print icon at the top after it opens in your web browser. For best results, set your printer settings to 'borderless.’ Additional print instructions can be found on our print page.

Submitting Content
Do you have a great idea that you'd like to share with other teachers and parents? We accept well-written articles, tips, activities, free resources that you've found, pictures of finished artwork or kids doing one of our activities, or other helpful information.
