Gather a variety of toy airplanes and set them out in your block area. (If you lack any toy airplanes at all, you can use paper airplanes as a substitute.) Use masking tape on the floor to mark off a couple of pretend runways. Have the children use the blocks to create their own control tower, airplane hangers, and terminals, so that their airport comes to life!
