Gather an assortment of small plastic animal figures. Place them inside cups with water, and freeze. Once frozen, extract the animal cubes from the cups, and place them inside baking tray at your table. Provide the kids with a bowl of hot saltwater, along with paint brushes, tooth brushes, and sand paper. Have them use the items to thaw and retrieve the creatures frozen in the ice.
