Provide the children with white paper, scissors, and markers or crayons. Have them trace their hand, then color it and cut it out. On a plain index card or separate piece of paper, have the child dictate to you something they could do to help others, either here with people they know or on a larger scale. Encourage them to do as many helping hands and good deeds they can think of. Display these around the room at children’s eye level.
