Go to your local Home Depo or building supply company, and get 8 foot strips of plastic plumbing pipe, the cheapest you can find. Next by an assortment of junctions and adapters for that size tube, the kind you just push onto the end. (female to female adapters) Cut the strips of plastic pipes into assorted 6” , 1 foot, and 1 foot sizes. Set it all out at the table and have kids assemble their own pipe structures. This activity may cost you a small amount in plumbing supplies, but you will get your moneys worth over the years from this multi purpose building set.
