Toothbrush Painting

Preschool to Kindergarten
Gather up some old, no longer used toothbrushes and sterilize them in bleach water. Once done, set them out at your art table, squirt some colored tempera school paint onto a paper plate. Provide the children with construction paper, and have them use the tooth brushes as paint brushes. They can use the bristles like a brush, or flick them with their finger to create a speckled pattern.
