Gather a variety of paint brushes, rollers, and paint trays. Add some paint shirts or smocks, some empty paint cans, stir sticks, masking tape, color swatches from a paint store, or other items a painter would use. Set the stuff out in the dramatic play area, and let the kids explore the life of a painter.
