Print out the addition or subtraction flashcards contained as a resource for this theme, and set a large bag of M&M's or Skittles out in a bowl at the table. Deal each child a flashcard, and have them pick out the number of candy pieces contained in their math problem. (Example: 4 + 3, pick out 4 pieces, then 3 pieces. Using the candy as a counting prop, have them solve the problem, eating the candy as they go or when done.
