What would a dollar bill look like if you were in charge of the country? Pose this question to your kids, and then set them off to design their own currency. Draw an oversized rectangle on a white piece of paper, and provide the kids with markers and colored pencils, along with stickers, ink stamps, or glitter. Set out a sample of a real dollar bill, and let the kids take it from there. These make a great classroom display when done; post their bills with a title tag that says: "David's money" or "Katy's money", etc.
